Yossi Glatzer, LCSW earned his MSW from Long Island University in 2013 and has worked with children and families in a variety of settings including schools and community mental health clinics. He is a graduate of the Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy training program at The Institute of Psychoanalytic Training and Research (IPTAR). He works primarily with English and Yiddish speaking children, adolescents and parents to help them through a variety of issues including life changes, anxiety, behavioral problems and loss. In addition to working from a psychodynamic and developmentally informed approach, he offers child-oriented play therapy and parent guidance. Yossi believes that effective child therapy requires flexibility, acceptance and creativity tailored to each child and an ability to collaborate with parents.
