As the Coronavirus continues to spread, Ezra Medical Center is committed to the health of our staff and patients. We are constantly monitoring the CDC websites and are in touch with the Department of Health for the most up to date information to ensure that we are taking necessary precautions. Emergency preparedness and following infection control guidelines is our best strategy in dealing with the current and developing situation.
Some steps that you can take to avoid getting Coronavirus:
At this time, the call center is screening all calls to ensure that any patient suspected of having the virus, does not enter our facility.
We will be putting a sign at our entrance for patients to NOT ENTER the facility, if they suspect they may have the virus.
For those patients that do enter our facility, and are suspected to have the virus, they will be masked immediately and put into our negative pressure room. We will confer with the Department of Health as per proper management for such patients.
As always the safety of our patient and staff is paramount and we will continue to update you as necessary.
