Gitty Greenwald, LMSW is a licensed psychotherapist with a graduate degree from New York University Silver School of Social Work. She has post graduate training in Skill Training in Affect and Interpersonal Regulation-Narrative Story Telling (STAIR-NST), Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Somatic Intervention, infant and early childhood development, and child play and art therapy. Years of experience in education, combined with extensive training in psychotherapy, enables Gitty to have a well rounded approach in understanding the human condition from a biopsychosocial perspective. Using an eclectic, psychodynamic approach, Gitty provides individual and family therapy for children, adolescents and adults, with an emphasis on trauma, attachment, parenting, and adult survivors of abuse and dysfunction. Within a safe, compassionate and non-judgmental environment, Gitty empowers her patients to address and heal from past and present experiences that may be holding them back from living a life of satisfaction.
