Eric Pollak, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in the treatment of CBT for anxiety, OCD, sleep disorders, trauma, and addictions. Dr. Pollak received his masters and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from Long Island University, where his research focused on predictors of self-esteem in Orthodox Jewish adolescents. Dr. Pollak completed his predoctoral internship at the VA Hudson Valley providing evidence-based treatment for PTSD, substance abuse, and insomnia to US Armed Forces veterans, and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Yeshiva University Counseling Center where he provided individual treatment, crisis intervention, and campus outreach. He is also trained in CBT-I (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia), CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy) for victims of trauma, and has advanced training in Harm Reduction Psychotherapy for substance use disorders. Clinically, Dr. Pollak has worked in numerous settings including the Yeshiva University Counseling Center, Center for Anxiety, and Premium Health Center.
