Dignitaries Join Community at Groundbreaking Ceremony Celebrating the Expansion of Ezra Medical Center

The greater Boro Park community celebrated an important milestone as Ezra Medical Center a multispecialty health center providing care to adults and children broke ground that will culminate in a
state-of-the-art, 25,000 sq ft brand new building. 

This new building, located at 3710 13th Avenue, will be providing services in the following specialties: Primary Care, Oral Health, Vision, Behavioral Health, Podiatry, Dermatology. According to Mr. Eliazer Igel, CEO, "our newly constructed building will enable us to continue serving the community in a greater capacity.”

Ezra Medical Center specializes in pediatric and adolescent medicine, optometry, general dentistry, podiatry-foot specialists and provides 360° Care platform brings patients' health full circle with careful coordination among all medical professionals and also offers the unique advantage of having all medical services available under one roof.

Ezra Medical Center serves the entire Brooklyn population, including under served and under insured with its sliding fee discounted schedule and insurance sign-up assistance. Elected officials and community leaders attended the groundbreaking ceremony including: Congressman Jerry Nadler, NYS Comptroller Tom DiNapoli, NYS Assemblymembers Simcha Eichenstein, David Weprin and Assistant Speaker Felix Ortiz, NYS Senator Simcha Felder, NYC Councilmembers Robert Cornegy Jr., Chaim Deutsch, Mathieu Eugene, Brad Lander. NYC Councilmember Kalman Yeger emceed the ceremony.

Howard Pollack represented the office of NYC Council Speaker Corey Johnson, Pinny Hikind the office of NYC Comptroller Scott Stringer and Pinny Ringel NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio's office. Dr. Jeffery Teitelbaum - Medical Director and Dr. Eli Wagshal - Dental Director both highlighted that in order to efficiently deliver these services, Ezra Medical Center constantly monitors all medical requirements of their patient population and closely listens to their patients who have identified areas for expanded services.
