Dr. Gelfond is residency trained in vision therapy and head trauma rehabilitation for children and adults at State University of New York, College of Optometry. She is Board Certified in Vision Development and Vision Therapy. Dr. Gelfond is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the State University of New York, College of Optometry where she supervises the pediatric vision therapy clinic. Dr. Gelfond works with teachers, occupational therapists, and tutors to help develop children's visual efficiency in order to enhance learning and development. She has given many lectures on the dynamics of visual development and its effect on learning. |
